Welcome back to the Camarano European blog. We sailed overnite from Amsterdam to Cologne, Germany; arriving and docking o/a 1 pm, but not before we all participated in a water safety exercise.
Enroute to Cologne I realized that the Rhine River is an extremely active water way. Many barge-like vessels sail carrying everything from raw materials like coal to natural gas.
Wandering around Cologne, we visited the "Dom" (major cathederal) which has been around for a loooong time.
We've been doing some serious eating and it's just the beginning of the trip. Need to be more careful to avoid ballooning.
